Marine Corps Marathon

Well the day finally arrived. After months of training and a lot of posts back and forth to Colorado from this site to keep everyone motivated my Dad and I ran the MCM. For me, in record time. 4:18:24 chip time (the watch had me at 4:18:10 and ironically it said that we ran 26.97 miles with all of the weaving in and out of people).

It was a wonderful run and a great culmination of a lot of hard work in CT and in CO. I am so very happy that I got to share the experience and time in DC with my family.

All in all a great day in an impressive setting. We would have finished a little earlier had we not stopped in front of the White House and "mooned" the Prez. But I kid the President! LOL
